Daryl Melvin collaborates on ASU Indigenous Health Summit with ASU College of Health Solutions

Daryl Melvin, Principal at Melvin Consulting PLLC, collaborates with Arizona Tribal Leaders and ASU College of Health Solution on a 2021 Indigenous Health Summit, entitled "Reimagining Indigenous Health due to COVID-19".

The Health System Redesign section includes recommendations that the new Indian Health Service Director be a strong supporter of transiting to 638-health facilities, for creating mentoring programs for upcoming tribal healthcare leaders, to add cultural competency training, prioritize upgrades to IT hardware/software at existing facilities, and embrace indigenous health concepts by recognizing practice-based evidence, among other essential solutions.
